About the Club
The Biggin Hill Social & Sports Club offers a range entertainment and facilities for members of all ages and their families. Our premises consist of a friendly members’ bar, a function room, snooker room, darts and a stage. Throughout the year the club offers members live entertainment with fabulous bands, comedy and more. Major sporting events and premiership games are shown on the large screen.
The club offers a wide range of activities including darts, snooker & pool and has many successful teams competing in local leagues.
Regular bingo sessions are held in the upper every Wednesday evening starting @ 8:30pm.
Membership
Joining Biggin Hill Social & Sports Club
Our membership is capped at 1000 which is currently full. Members do come and go so please join our waiting list. This can be done by completing an application form, available at the bar from May each year. To avoid creating an unmanageable waiting list we do limit the number of application forms given out in any year.
You must be proposed and seconded by existing members who, from personal knowledge, can confirm your suitability for membership of the club.
Induction/vetting sessions are held in March/April each year once the vacancy level has been determined by the Committee
The annual membership subscription is £20, renewable on January 1st each year. Affiliation to the Club & Institute Union is an additional £7 in year 1 and an additional £3.50 per year from year 2.
Activities
Darts League
We have 3 male & 2 ladies teams competing in local leagues. Men on Tuesday & Friday evenings, Ladies on Thursday evenings.
Snooker League
We have had teams competing in local leagues but this has yet to re-commence following the pandemic lockdowns.
Pool
We have had a team in local leagues but not for the past couple of years. The facility remains for this to be kick-started.
